Brochure Website

Most ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) already have a brochure website which is utilized to advertise their company's various products and services. The content on this type of website will ordinarily contain items such as:

Product features, options, and screenshots
Minimum system requirements for using the software
Other pertinent marketing information
Company contact details and product support availability

If you do not already have an existing e-Commerce solution, please be aware that once you begin using the facilities of SOLO Server, there are several additional links and pages that are readily available for you to incorporate within your brochure website:

SOLO Server has a Trial Tracking Service that can be used to gather data from potential customers who are interested in downloading a trial version of your software. You simply create a form on your web site that posts to a SOLO Server script. The server will collect the data and accordingly send customized marketing e-mails to your prospective customers.
When customers are ready to purchase your software, they can click on a "Buy Now" link or button that redirects them to the SOLO Server cart to promptly process their order. (Please refer to Getting Ordering URLs for more information.)
Customers who have purchased licenses can then log into the all-new SOLO Server Customer License Portal to (among many other activities) see their order history, reprint receipts, download software updates, purchase upgrades, renew support contracts, register software, and retrieve misplaced or forgotten License IDs and passwords.
