Trial Conversions Report

To view this report, click the Reports menu, scroll down to the Trial Tracking section, and click Trial Conversions.

The trial conversion report provides you with the number of people who downloaded a trial version of a product along with how many of those downloaders actually purchased, whether it be the same product or a different product. This report has several options:

Report Type

The report type. Options are as follows:

Adobe Acrobat: The report will be generated as an Adobe Acrobat file (pdf).
Microsoft Excel: The report will be generated as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (xls).
Comma Separated Value: The report will be generated as a comma separated value file (csv).
XML by Elements: The report will be generated as xml with separate elements for each field.
XML by Parameters: The report will be generated as xml with a singe element containing a parameter for each field.

Start/End Date

The date range to run the report for. Note that depending on the server configuration, there may be a restriction of the number of days the report can be run for.

Save to Disk

Check this box to save the report to disk. If unchecked, the report will be displayed in an inline frame within the web page, otherwise you will be prompted to save the file to disk.

Global/Author

Available to users with global access permission. Check the Global checkbox to run the report across all authors, or choose an author from the Author drop down to run the report against a specific author.
