SOLO Server allows creating product categories and assigning categories to each product. These categories can be used in the cart's catalog page to allow filtering by category.
To manage categories, from the menu, select Store / Store Catalog Categories. A list of existing categories will be shown. To create a new category, click the Add New button along the top, and to view or edit existing categories, click the View or Edit link to left of the category in the list.
Each category has the following fields:
To assign categories to a product, navigate to the product configuration page and click Edit. The categories will appear in a list box on the page. Highlight the categories you would like to assign to the product (note that you can assign multiple categories by holding down the shift key while selecting) and then click the Submit button.
